ABOUT RVCC

On a Wednesday evening in October, 2018, like-minded individuals who had a heart for God visited the Pastor and his wife's home seeking direction for a church home and growth in the ministry. After much discussion, it was suggested we meet again the next Wednesday. Over time, bible study became a weekly visit to the pastor's home. The ministry thrived and grew. Shortly thereafter, God began moving in the Pastor's heart, with fresh revelation for a "new start", a new beginning"! This new start realigned lives with God's will for our lives, not our will.

Several initiatives such as evangelizing in our local communities, church picnics, Black History moments, and vacation bible school are implemented to promote growth, opportunities, and a mission to be a church on the move.

A church empowering the people of God to do the will of God and to have a better quality of life."

WE BELIEVE...

Jesus Christ, the son of Almighty God was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life, was hung on the cross at Calvary, and was crucified for the sins of the world. He was buried, but then boldly resurrected from the grave. He ascended up to heaven and he will soon return for his church. We are covered by his blood, we walk in power, and authority according to his word, and we are saved by grace through faith in a risen savior. The bible consists of 66 books, Old and New Testaments, and is truthful in all that it confirms, inspired by God. The bible is the authority for Christian faith and practice(2 Timothy 3; 15-17)

MEET THE PASTOR

Pastor Marshall Boykin Sr. was born March 9th, 1962, to the late Weaver and Ella Mae Boykin in Frisco City Alabama. He received Christ and was baptized at the age of eight. He served in many church capacities in his youth, including choir, usher, jr. Deacon, youth Sunday school teacher, and even church custodian. As early as the age of ten, elders began telling him that he would one day preach the gospel. The more he matured, the more frequently he heard it. After graduating high school, he attended Patrick Henry Jr College, Monroeville, AL. Later, he enlisted in the Army National Guard and the Selma State Police Academy. He completed ministerial studies at the Birmingham Baptist Bible College. On December 5, 1993, at 3 am, he received his call into the gospel ministry. He served faithfully under pastors in Birmingham and Montgomery, AL. until God directed him to begin pastoring the Restoration Baptist church in Montgomery, AL., where he served for nine years. In November 2019, the Lord directed Pastor Boykin to birth The Relentless and Victorious Christian Church in Phenix City, AL., where he now humbly continues serving as Pastor and overseer.

By his side is his best friend, high school sweetheart, and wife, Gwendolyn. They are the proud parents of five wonderful adult children and grandchildren. Pastor Boykin likes to describe himself as a bold, real, and Holy Ghost-filled preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
